Bright sunflowers and hints of navy pulled this blue and yellow wedding together for Kayla & DJ.
This blue and yellow wedding started in the outdoor area of the mansion. Bridesmaids wore navy floor-length dresses and held bright bouquets with sunflowers. At the reception, which moved into the mansion, guests tables had navy linens with bold centerpieces. White napkins and resin chairs softened the interior space.
From the photographer: With beautiful blue skies, gorgeous fall weather, Kayla and DJ’s wedding day was stunning! It’s not very often a bride walks down the aisle and is married by the pastor who baptized her.As their day unfolded, it was clear to see the love that surrounds this couple. From DJ’s brother’s crying the first time they saw their new sister in her gown, to DJ’s emotional first look and the overwhelming excitement from Kayla’s bridesmaids, this day was set for success!I couldn’t help but laugh so hard I cried when DJ saw Kayla for the first time and I don’t know if there’s one that will top DJ’s reaction! We always recommend doing a first look simply because you’re able to truly enjoy the moment and DJ’s reaction to seeing his bride was one for the books!
