Katlyn and James’ Harvard Club Wedding

Katlyn and James got married at the Harvard Club in New York. They had a picture-perfect February wedding in 2018. The most beautiful giant snowflakes fell on their wedding day. It made the celebration even more magical.

From the bride: “The inspiration for our wedding was Timeless Manhattan. I wanted to feel like Audrey Hepburn! Our goal was to create an experience for our guests that could have transcended any time period. It was a classic black and white wedding. We also hoped to orient much of the energy and attention of the day on the sacrament of our marriage more than simply the party or celebration, knowing that our commitment was ultimately much larger than ourselves.”

They kept the decor simple. From the bride: “Both spaces need little help in looking and feeling magnificent. As such, we did little to adorn the sanctuary space [of the church]; letting the glittering golds and gorgeous altar do all the talking. The same was true for the cocktail hall and reception space; with dark woods, crimson details, vaulted ceilings, and impressive portraits and busts adorning the walls.”

The florals featured cascading bouquets underneath towering centerpieces. Simply breathtaking.
