From the photographer: Both Katie & Sam were graduates of Georgetown University so they couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else! With a gorgeous ceremony, just after some spring showers, at Dahlgren Chapel on Georgetown’s Campus the couple took pictures with their family and wedding party at some of their favorite spots. Cocktail hour & the reception were held shortly thereafter in the Library, O’Bryne Gallery & Portico of DAR. Playing into the rich history of their venue the couple opted to name each table after the 13 original colonies. With a gorgeous frame rented from Something Vintage Rentals & signage from the Dandelion Patch, Allison Barnes Events was able to make the ‘Find Your Colony’ escort display come to life.
