Kate and Nick tied the knot at the gorgeous Summerfield Farms in September. Located just outside of Greensboro in Summerfield, North Carolina, this stunning venue is actually a working farm.
The barn Kate and Nick held their reception in was one of many options on the farm. The property is full of rustic charm.
The new mr. and mrs. said “I Do” under “Little Tree” on property. The day was filled with personalized touches; Kate’s mom, Joyce, made almost all the personalized items.
The brides bouquet was beautiful, made with sunflowers and an assortment of wildflowers. They popped against the blue color used throughout the wedding and the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Kate and Nick exchanged cards before the ceremony and the bride had a first look with her dad. Nick’s daughter, Ari, played an integral role throughout the day.
Ari was a junior bridesmaid; they also exchanged vows with Ari during the ceremony and gave her a necklace. Kate and Nick also invited Ari to join in during the first dance and she made a surprise toast that brought everyone to tears.
