Classic wedding elements, including white and gold, brought elegance to Kate and Jeff’s spring wedding.
First, the ceremony was held at St. Paul Cathedral, where the tall ceilings and white walls allow open space. The gold adornments on the altar create a classic touch of elegance to the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests moved to the reception at the Renaissance Hotel where the ballroom was painted white with linens and flowers. Pops of fuchsia brought a spring sense to the affair.
From the photographer: These two met on Valentine’s Day IN a coal mine. Talk about a crazy way to meet! They sealed the deal at the always-gorgeous St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh, and celebrated at the Renaissance Hotel overlooking the Pittsburgh rivers, bridges and PNC Park Baseball game. Both are huge baseball fans, so it was only fitting the that Pirates won and they experienced their own fireworks show right outside of their reception venue to end the evening! Truly a modern, classic Pittsburgh wedding.
