Karen and Sean’s Central Park Wedding

Karen and Sean had a dream wedding in Central Park on the Bow Bridge. They wanted a place that was meaningful to both of them, easy to access, and a New York City landmark.

The couple wanted to get married in the fall and built their wedding theme around that. They used a burnt orange, wine, and navy blue color palette to bring the environment to life.

For the ceremony, since it was right off of the Bow Bridge, they did not bring any decorations. They did have a cello musician there to play songs before and after the ceremony. Additionally, the couple used rose petals at the end of the ceremony to celebrate.

They had a small reception around Times Square. They chose more of a rustic, romantic, autumn theme with pumpkins, sunflowers, and twigs along with small candles and soft lights to fill the ambiance.

Karen and Sean made their own favors. They used “Fall in Love” mugs and put bags of hot chocolate in the mugs with fake autumn leaves surrounding the glass in the box.

For florals, the bride’s bouquet, along with her maid of honor’s bouquet, were in autumn-themed colors. It was a lovely arrangement of roses, hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, and others. Sean’s boutonniere matched his lovely bride’s flowers.
