Julia and Tyler had a beautifully historic golf club wedding in June 2019. They were so excited to get married at the Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton, IL. It’s a historic venue that Julia grew up at, making their big day all the more special. The bride used to spend her summers at the pool and running around the grounds.
The bride and groom added a fun spin on the guest book. They opted for guests to take their pictures with Polaroid cameras instead of just signing their names. It was unique and gave them a way to remember all those that helped them celebrate their special day.
The Chicago Golf Club was one of the five founding clubs of the United States Golf Association in 1894. The whole family pulled together finding table decor and candleholders in basements and flea shops making for elegant table settings that matched the historic nature of their venue. They had an open-air reception at their historic golf club wedding with dinner and dancing under the stars.
