The elegant decor created a romantic ambiance for Jacquelyn & Steven’s traditional country club wedding.
How they met: Everyone loves a birthday party, and Jackie is no exception! It was one particular party at Archie’s in South Side however that our story begins. A few of Jackie’s friends were planning on celebrating Steve’s birthday, and as a lover of birthday parties, Jackie didn’t let the fact that she didn’t actually know Steve stop her from joining in! The two met that night through their mutual friends and immediately hit it off!
How he asked: On December 23rd, Steve told Jackie that he had made reservations for the two of them at Il Pizzaiolo in Market Square. When they arrived downtown, they decided to walk to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree to get a quick picture before sitting down to eat. Jackie remembers that “as we walked to the tree, he mentioned our relationship, our ups and downs, and how we always got through it together”. There was another family who asked if Jackie wouldn’t mind taking their picture, and they returned the favor by taking Jackie and Steve’s picture. As Jackie turned to grab her jacket so they could head to dinner, Steve pulled her in for a kiss then unexpectedly knelt down on one knee!
