Daniela and Sean’s Howey Mansion Wedding

Daniela and Sean got married at the historic Howey Mansion in Florida. They were high school sweethearts and met while doing a production of Into The Woods. Several of their old classmates were in their wedding party!

So much thought went into every last detail of their wedding day. From the sunset ceremony surrounded by candlelight, to the beauty of the Howey Mansion as their backdrop it was just so romantic!

From the photographer: “It was like walking back in time to the early 1900’s when The Howey Mansion was built. Most of the wedding party were in theatre or show choir with Daniela and Sean so we were surrounded by fun and entertaining personalities for the day.”

The bridesmaids wore gold sequined dresses as a nod to their show choir days gold glitter uniforms. Each girl was also gifted with a unique piece of jewelry supporting a charity that’s important to each of them.

The ladies started their getting ready with hair and makeup done in the Caretaker’s Cottage which is also full of rich history and period specific furniture.

When they were ready to get into their dresses they ventured over to the main house to get dressed in one of the old bedrooms with vintage decor.

The original servant call-bell phone system is still in the room as well.  The lady of the house would call for help when getting into her gowns back in the day.

Sean’s dad had passed away a few years ago and was a pilot, so Sean and the groomsmen each wore wings instead of boutonnieres and it was just so touching, especially when his brother helped but his on.

They wanted a romantic feel for the day and a candle-lined aisle at sunset with candles decorating the altar set the perfect stage. The dinner was held in the courtyard surrounding the vintage water fountain with market lights and candles to light the night.
