Heather & Zac’s modern industrial wedding began with an outdoor ceremony at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center in downtown Columbus, Georgia.
From the photographer: Heather and Zac said ‘I do’ on February 17th. Their wedding was a gorgeous mix of subtle old Hollywood glamour in a modern, industrial setting with dark emerald greens and beautiful his & hers rose gold wedding rings. These two opted for a private first look between bride and groom before the guests began to arrive and was such a special moment. Both agreed that after they had the chance to see one another a lot of the anxiety of the day melted away.
From the bride: For the ceremony, I had faux moss runners lining the aisle along with rose gold lanterns, greenery, and white carnations. At the end of the aisle I had a wooden arbor decorated with ivory sheers and a garland of eucalyptus. We also had a friend make a “welcome” and “unplugged” sign for us. For the reception, I had a mixture of black and rose gold lanterns on the tables. I also added blush pink roses, burgundy carnations, baby’s breath, ferns, and other greenery to the centerpieces. Another friend of ours painted a scripture verse on a sheet that was the background of our photo booth/sitting area. I made a vintage suitcase our cards and gifts holder. I chalkboard painted a globe as our guest book because our guests “mean the world to us.” We also had a memorial table set up in remembrance of our grandparents that have passed.
