I am so excited to share these wedding photos with you guys! Kelley and Brad’s wedding took place on the perfect spring Saturday at Hadden Estate DGD Farms right outside of Athens, Georgia.
Just one week before this day, the weather was in the 40s with gusts of winds all day, but on THIS beautiful March day, the sun was shining and the weather was absolutely perfect.
From the bride: We both wanted a very simple and classic wedding (black and white), so we could look back in photos and they’d be timeless. We did a Catholic ceremony outside which was important to us.
For the ceremony, it was outside near the blueberry fields with flower petals and white bouquets with touches of greenery.
We really wanted to incorporate our Goldendoodle, Chester, so we included touches of him throughout the reception. I
had a very clear vision in mind for the invitation suite, wedding programs and all of the printed pieces regarding our wedding day, so I designed it all myself.
We both wanted traditional and classic..something we can look back at photos for years to come and it be timeless. I think you see that in my wedding dress selection and Brad’s choice to go with a black tux.
The most special moment for me was when I saw Brad at the end of the aisle. I thought I would be very nervous with the eyes of so many wedding guests on me. But at that moment, I only saw him and nothing else mattered.
Our private dance at the end of the night turned out to be one of the best recommendations for us to have. It really was an amazing way for us both to soak everything in and enjoy one final dance together to end the night, with just the two of us.
