We started Meg & Brendan’s wedding day in Commerce, Georgia at the gorgeous Grant Hill Farms wedding venue!
I met these two back in April for their engagement session. I’m so thankful these two were able to keep their date and venue in tact!
Meg is sweet, real and joyful! Brendan has a tough exterior, but a soft spot for his girl!
There was not much inspiration behind the day, I just have always known what I wanted, the vibe I was looking for and the backdrop I always pictured in my wedding photos.
I drove past a venue sign one day after I moved to my new house down the road, and saw that it was a long gravel driveway to the venue and surrounded by beef cow pastures on both sides.
I called the venue shortly there after, visited the venue a few weeks later, and booked it on the spot without even shopping around. I could tell by the venue and the owner, this was exactly what I was looking for and what I needed.
Advice: MAKE LISTS. There is SO much to do, so much to remember, so many details. It is easy to forget especially if you have other things going on in your life like I did with vet school.
Your planner should also help with this, but there are other details that will be things you want that aren’t explicitly on the list your planner gave you – just write it all down.
If you have half a second to order that one or two things now rather than saying “ill do it later”.. do it now!
