Rena and Troy’s Four Seasons Oahu wedding was one that will stay in our minds forever! Starting with a Chinese Tea ceremony, the couple dressed in stunning, traditional Chinese outfits. We were in love with Rena’s traditional red dress and the beading in her hair.
The tea ceremony is one of the most significant parts of this wedding. The tea ceremony is held in order for the couple to show their respect to their parents, and in return, their parents will show their acceptance of the marriage.
Everything about this was beautiful and made us even more excited for what’s to come. The bride then changed into an elegant, white wedding gown for the first look and ceremony.
The ceremony was held in one of the most breathtaking gardens at the Four Seasons Ko’Olina.
The florist, Debbie Hemmingway, did a fantastic job creating a European coastal theme with her florals.
We were in love with the ceremony décor and the simple elegance that the couple brought to this wedding.
Moving into cocktail hour and the reception, we couldn’t get enough of the breathtaking décor.
One of our favorite parts was the bar sign that featured the couple’s furry friends. While the dogs couldn’t make the wedding, it was important that they be a part of the big day in some special way.
The light blue color scheme was a fun twist that really brought the whole area together. It was an honor to plan this wedding and it is one that we will daydream about forever! We were so happy to be a part of Rena and Troy’s special day.
