Elva and Bill started their forever with a beautiful San Diego elopement in November 2020. The two originally planned to wed on May 4 (Star Wars Day) but were forced to postpone due to the pandemic.
They saw an opportunity to tie the knot in November and decided to elope with only Elva’s mother in attendance.
From the photographer: “Elva and Bill eloped during a pandemic at the beautiful County of San Diego administration kiosk. With some fun Stormtrooper helmets and a beautiful sunset, their wedding day was just perfect.”
From the groom: “We were also extremely lucky enough to have my ten-year-old daughter Facetiming us from North Carolina the entire time.”
The bride’s mother made Bill’s boutonniere and Elva’s bouquet by hand for their San Diego elopement. She chose all-white roses. They hold a personal significance to her.
From the groom: “In theory, our wedding was going to have all the bells and whistles, along with some blasters and lightsabers. We had planned a full-on Star Wars-themed affair, complete with a Chewbacca priest and stormtroopers walking my wife down the aisle.”
