Purple is the key theme in today’s wedding: orchid flowers to linen napkins to bridesmaids dresses. Paired with a white base, the color popped for Dorene & Ed’s wedding.
Bridesmaids were clad in long fuchsia dresses and carried bouquets of white and purple flowers. During the ceremony, Dorene walked down a white aisle lined with purple orchids and rose petals. After the ceremony, guests entered the ballroom where tables were decorated with white linens and pops of orchid centerpieces. The bride provided purple-glitter mini champagne bottles and strawberries as wedding favors.
From the photographer: During the ceremony Dorene got quite the surprise when Ed pulled out her wedding band to place on her finger. He had given it a bit of an upgrade. Needless to say she loved it. They exchanged personal vows and each chose a passage from the Quran to read to each other that described the meaning of their marriage to each other.
