Devin and Luke got married in September 2019 at Custer State Park in South Dakota. The ceremony took place near the creek that ran through the park’s game lodge property. The celebration later transitioned to the oh-so-perfect rustic barn. The stunning reception venue was within walking distance for their guests.
The couple had perfect weather for their special day. Blue skies and a perfect 75-degree forecast set the scene in the Black Hills for the mid-September day. Devin and Luke gathered their favorite people from around the globe to join them at the foot of the Black Hills; using the beautiful wood cabins near the lodge to get ready for the wedding.
The color scheme was neutral tones with pops of blush pink. The bridesmaids matched the flowers with pretty blush pink dresses. Groomsmen wore white shirts, gray pants, and cognac suspenders. The bride looked stunning in her two-piece wedding dress and the groom handsome in his vest.
The state park boasts stunning nature views and is home to the historic lover’s peak near Coolidge Creek. The lodge is dream-like with high ceilings and exposed wood. The couple opted for a donut wall vs. a traditional cake.
