Day of the Dead wedding ideas?! Yes, please! We are obsessed with this colorful wedding inspiration idea.
A modern take on Day of the Dead inspired by traditional Mexican culture, acrylic details, and a bold color scheme made for an edgy design, perfect for couples looking to create something outside of the norm for their wedding day style.
Kayla Huston Events created a fun look with so many unique details. The Monarch butterfly accents that are incorporated to honor the spirits that they are said to carry each year during Día de los Muertos were such a beautiful touch.
From the bride & groom’s styling and hand dyed florals inspired by the color palette, to a black and bright, iridescent rainbow tablescape, every element added more personality to this design.
The cake table acted as the Ofrenda or Offering, this is typically an altar with a collection of objects placed on a ritual display during the traditional celebration. It is common to place food here for loved ones who have departed as well as photos of them, so this was the perfect spot for cake and cookies!
We love the iridescent cactus table numbers created by Z Create Design and the adorable mini maraca place cards created by Kayla Huston Events. There are so many custom details that really made these wedding ideas so fun and different.
The team at Mimosas & Moonshine made our cactus ceremony dreams come to life with this bright and beautiful set up. Check out the bright and bold design that Liz Cowie Photography captured; we think you’re going to love it as much as we do!
