Maddie and Dane’s wedding was such a fun day to capture. It took place on a snowy and cold February Friday afternoon at Das Bevo wedding venue, a historical and gorgeous location in the heart of St. Louis.
Maddie reached out to me about a month before their day asking if I would be available to shoot their small and intimate ceremony they were having with just a few family and friends. Thankfully my calendar was open and available.
She explained she was planning to wear two short, but very bridal dresses and was doing her own hair and make-up. She wanted to keep it very simple, but timeless. I think she did just that!
Maddie and Dane began their morning slow and sweet. Just the two of them got ready together, which was super intimate to photograph. Getting ready photos were some of my favorites from their gallery. I love the editorial and film inspired vibes we captured throughout their day.
Their ceremony was officiated by Maddie’s sister, Rachael, and she did a phenomenal job. It was short, sweet, and personal – everything the lovely couple envisioned for their special day!
Following the ceremony the couple joined with their family and friends for a private and intimate dinner. I am so happy for Maddie and Dane and wish them so much happiness in their lifetime together!
