Springtime flowers bloomed at Daniela and Joseph’s floral-inspired wedding in Connecticut.
From the bride: Our inspiration for the wedding decor, invitations, flowers, and every single detail that went into it came from both the art movement Impressionism and french country style. We wanted for everything to be romantic, chic and spring like using fresh palette colors. Our dream was always to have our wedding, both ceremony & reception, outdoors at a garden. We just wanted trees and flowers surrounding us, we both love nature and being in a green environment was a must. We found The Mayflower Grace and fell in love. It was exactly what we were looking for.
How he asked: It was our anniversary, which we celebrate ever year, and always do something special. This time we decided to recreate our first date. We had dinner at our favorite restaurant, went to the bar where we met, had fun, and remembered every moment we had on the walk home. At least that is what I thought. Little did I know that Joe had planned much more to happen. On our way home we stopped at Madison Square Park, which has always been very meaningful to us. We have shared many moments there and it’s our favorite park in the city. It was completely illuminated by these beautiful light sculptures. Right then and there, Joe got onto one knee and gave the most beautiful speech and proposed. I was crying, screaming “yessss!!!!”
