Several homemade touches made Crystal & Randy’s DIY mansion wedding a day to remember for guests and the couple.
Lanterns with greenery decorated the top of the aisle for this DIY mansion wedding ceremony. The ceremony tree was draped with a long piece of fabric. Guests enjoyed a full dessert table for this DIY mansion wedding reception. Red napkins topped white linens on the reception tables.
From the bride: My DIY’s were flowers from kukka flowers, a friend and myself did the food a week before and froze the pastas, we made the desserts except the cookies, Lynda Hale and Debbie Daniel (mom) provided cakes and pies, and happy cakes provided my actual cakes. I chose to DIY because originally our plan was to go away and get married to save money for our honeymoon and Randy’s family couldn’t travel. Since we financially were taking on the responsibility of it all, I thought I could wing it all alone. I would never suggest it again. It was a bit too eventful, but certainly shared memories and an appreciation for the ladies that helped. I would’ve never been so humbled by the love of others in any other way. I know it was all a lot for them as well. So looking back the coming together of it really stands out to me just as much.
