Marmalade Lily Wedding

Cassidy and Jimmy were one of the most gracious couples we have had the honor of working with. Their Marmalade Lily wedding is filled with all the perfect details: gorgeous anemone flower crowns, moss ring cushions, the stunning white tent…the day was dreamy!

From the bride: Jimmy and I wanted a welcoming warm environment for our friends and family on our wedding day. I loved the color dusty blue with other earthy colors accentuated. We wanted a more natural bohemian feel when choosing decor, and used many items from Collective Charm Rentals.

We wanted an outdoor garden feel to our wedding and Marmalade Lily was the perfect location for tying the knot! We used many unique items from Collective Charm Rentals such as the royal blue settee and rented dusty blue water goblets and many more items.

One of my favorite DIY decor was our seating chart made out of my great grandmas French doors. We had a close friend do the hand lettering on the seating chart and it turned out just stunning.

You can’t having an outdoor garden wedding without flowers, and Laura helped bring my vision of abundant flowers to life. We had flowers draping over the arch we were married under and the cutest swing at Marmalade Lily.

My flower crown that I wore for the reception was hand crafted by Laura and was one of my favorite accessories from our wedding day.

The most anticipated moment of our wedding day was defiantly walking down the aisle and the reading of our vows. We both wrote our own vows and it was just so special to read those promises to each other, and watch Jimmy weep as I walked down the aisle.

My best advice was one we received from friends, remember to make time for each other in the midst of wedding planning, do things together that have nothing to do with wedding planning to keep that connection alive.

In our wedding planning I was the visionary and Jimmy was the details man, he helped keep my vision straight with spreadsheets and being the main email man. Don’t be afraid to delegate. Your friends and family most likely would love to help you out.
