Christie & Doug’s Sci-Fi Themed Wedding

Christie and Douglas met during the summer of 2010, through friends. On their first date, Christie brought her custom light saber to show to Douglas, knowing that he was just as big a Star Wars fan as she was!

Christie and Douglas knew that they wanted to have a wedding that was cozy and romantic, but that also showed off their personalities. Instead of choosing a theme for the wedding, they decided that the theme of the wedding would be the bride and groom themselves: a Tardis Card Box, an ocean-inspired color palette, as well as Mulder and Scully Funko Pop figures as their wedding cake toppers. They decided that The Mill at Spring Lake Heights in Spring Lake Heights, NJ, would be the perfect atmosphere for the couple to celebrate with their closest friends and family.
