Rows of lush, green vines and bright floral colors shaped Celeste & Matthew’s summer vineyard wedding.
Rows of chairs were lined for a view of the rustic building. There was an indoor backup plan for the barrel and tasting rooms if it rained, but the weather held out for their ceremony. Celeste carried a simple blush and white floral bouquet, which had pops of bright blue flowers. Reception tables for this summer vineyard wedding were draped in white linens with burlap runners. Centerpieces were a collection of small tin cans with delicate plants, a nice alternative to flower stems.
How they met: Matt and Celeste had been colleagues for a few years. Every now and then they’d find themselves at the same social scene with other colleagues for happy hours. Then in February 2013, a handful of the colleagues decided to go on a weekend trip to New Hampshire for some winter sports and stayed in a mutual friend’s cabin. There, Matt and Celeste realized they got along very well with each other, so the following weekend they had their first date: a homemade cooked meal (by Matt!) of chicken piccata, which is now one of Celeste’s favorite dishes! From then on the rest is history.
