The stunning surroundings at VanDusen Botanical Gardens was the perfect backdrop for Cathy’s & Andrew’s summer garden wedding.
A sign decorated with watercolor flowers welcomed guests to the unplugged ceremony. Bridesmaids donned pastel pink gowns for this summer garden wedding. Reception centerpieces consisted of gold painted vases with white flowers and greenery runners.
From the photographer: This couple’s summer wedding, was all about their guests having a good time and about enjoying the beauty of Vancouver’s VanDusen Botanical Gardens. The Golden Chain trees only bloom for a short two weeks each year, so special to witness! The couple’s ceremony took place on the lawn next to Heron Lake on a beautiful sunny day. They didn’t see each other before the ceremony, so Cathy walking down the aisle was an extra special moment. This duo loves food and there were plenty of special treats for their guests. They had an ice-cream cart after the ceremony, a donut wall for dessert and an amazing 3 course seated dinner. And both of them had a signature cocktail!
