Wedding at Catawba Falls Events: Brooke & Fuller got married on a gorgeous spring day at Catawba Falls in Lancaster, South Carolina.
It was an incredible venue with classic and timeless architecture, and the natural surroundings were breathtaking.
One really cool area was the waterfront amphitheater where Brooke and Fuller chose to have their ceremony.
We loved getting to capture the quiet moments they each took before the ceremony to open and read letters they had written for each other.
Seeing them exchange vows in front of all their family and friends, and then get to celebrate their commitment with everyone at the reception afterwards was such an honor to be able to document!
We snuck out of the reception for a bit as the sun was setting over the water to take advantage of the amazing light- and those views!!
From the bride: Our wedding day was classic and timeless! We wanted minimal yet southern and classy. We used ginger jars outside that belonged to our mothers and Brooke’s grandma.
We relied a lot on florals and used hints of gold throughout the reception area. As far as the ceremony, the view speaks for itself.
I wanted a classic & timeless wedding dress- something that was comfortable and simple. Fuller wanted something classic but more on the fancy side. The black tux was perfect with the unique brackish bow tie to give the groom a little extra something.
Our favorite part was celebrating with friends and family. We loved dancing and talking all night. The most special moment was at the end of the night when fuller and I got to have a private last dance and really soak every thing in.
