Hannah and Tucker’s Castle Noland Wedding

Hannah and Tucker said I do at their Castle Noland wedding San Luis Obispo, California. Their day was filled with emotion, tears, laughter, and so much love.

From the bride: Tucker and I met in college!

We both went to the rec center regularly, and he said he used to see me all the time there and around campus, whereas I didn’t know he existed haha. We were always in other relationships whenever he saw me anyways, so it was always a wrong time-wrong place thing.

One day, I was on my way to the library to study before class, and I see a guy running in his ROTC uniform down the hill, and as he’s running by, he takes a double-take at me, and I kind of freeze and smile, and he just runs right by me!

A few days later he approaches me at the gym and we get to talking and the rest is history! Everything instantly clicked, and I’m so glad it was the right time.

Planning was soooo crazy! I had an image for when and where the wedding was going to be. I even had a large list of people that were going to “be there no matter what”.

As the months went on, everything slowly came together and fell apart at the same time.

It was probably every few weeks that we had to rethink our plans and recreate everything.

We became almost comfortable with the chaos, but we decided we were doing it no matter what because we were getting married no matter what happened.

As the month of the wedding came, we felt like we could finally breathe because the venue was still giving us the go, and most of our guests had RSVP’d.

Things were looking good! Until 16 days before the date when California shut down again. It was just a domino effect from there.

The venue pulled out saying we couldn’t have it there. Many of our guests un-rsvp’d.

At this point, we had everything paid for and waiting for this day, but now we needed a new venue. Which meant we had no decorations, no place to get ready, and our plans for photos were all taken away.

Luckily for us, our wedding planner was AMAZING and helped us replan the whole thing.

We started scrambling for a new venue, and with the help of our photographers and our planner, we found Castle Noland wedding venue that was wayyyy better than we could have imagined.

We ended up getting a huge last-minute deal with them and our day was thrown together in a week.

By the end of it, I was just so thankful for everyone’s support and understanding. I had the best day of my life regardless and it made it all worth it.
