With guests coming from all over the country, Cassandra & Dan chose the Salisbury House in Iowa for their romantic castle wedding.
The historic estate provided a gorgeous backdrop for the couple’s festivities. The ceremony was held in the garden outside, there the greenery set the stage for this romantic castle wedding. The bride carried a bouquet of blush roses and white calla lilies set in cream hydrangea. Bridesmaids wore floor-length navy gowns. During the reception, guests could find their seats at tables with large ornate frames. Alternating centerpieces topped the tables for this romantic castle wedding.
The groom’s late father had asked the groom to do a whiskey tasting with him when he was able to leave the hospital. Unfortunately he never did get out of the hospital and passed away before the wedding. Dan had taken note of the whiskey selections that his father had wanted and had those exact ones at the wedding. A bartender poured samples and explained the differences between the whisky and assisted as guests could take notes of their favorites.
