Brittany & Tydles’ romantic summer wedding took place at 701 Whaley in Columbia, South Carolina.
Pink sequin runners dazzled each tables at this romantic summer wedding reception. The cake was adorned with gold detailing. During this romantic summer wedding reception, the bride made an outfit switch into a navy sequin cocktail dress.
From the bride: From the beginning, we always knew we didn’t want anything over the top. Even when we met with different vendors and they asked about our theme, the response was always, “Simple, but elegant.” Of course, that’s not a theme, but that was the vibe we wanted for our wedding day. Originally, we planned to get married in October. Growing up, I had this vision of getting married outside on a beautiful green lawn with an amazing scenery. Due to our career field, I felt like it would be best if we got married before school started. Thus, we had this beautiful summer wedding. Since that was the case, I wanted our color palette to be light and airy, but one that gave that simple, but elegant vibe. In the end, we ended up doing blush & navy, accented in ivory and gold, which was the perfect color combination to match our venue.
