Bright flowers paired with the scenic outdoor views created a whimsical ambiance for Briana & Eric’s California vineyard wedding.
From the bride: We wanted whimsical and romantic and natural and that’s what we got! The ceremony space was decorated with a beautiful chandelier hanging from a wooden alter covered in a unique, rustic hanging arrangement of flowers. The reception site literally looked like a secret garden hidden behind weathered, blue wood doors. Once the doors opened, the spacious lawn was full of string lights hanging from trees that surrounded the dance floor and dinner tables. The tables were spread out to make an aisle for the bridal party to enter through which then lead to our head table sitting right under a lit chandelier. Our table was perfectly set for two with decorations that represented us both, including a map of Chile and U.S. showing where we are both from.
From the photographer: Two cultures merged on the evening of January 26th, 2018. Briana, Eric and their translator said their vows before friends and family at Aviation Vineyards in Temecula, California. Briana Set out to Chile, not for love but to teach. However her plans quickly changed when she met a charismatic Navy man named Eric who worked up the courage to ask her out. She had her reservations as she was only going to be in Chile a few more months. Her friends encouraged her to just go on a date and have fun before making the trip back to the states. Well the few months turned into a few years in Chile after meeting the love of her life. Despite not being able to speak with one another in the absence of a translator both Briana and Eric’s family communicated with one another fully in the universal language of love, you could see the deep joy exuded when you looked at either family.
