Mia and Alberto were on a rollercoaster trying to plan their wedding, with constant Covid restriction changes. But one thing they knew for sure was that they wanted a Beekman Hotel wedding. The hotel has a long history, and Mia and Alberto fell in love with the structural beauty of it, including a beautiful Atrium space where you can see 9 floors up.
They had a small intimate wedding with their closest friends and family in the beautiful Wisteria Rooftop in the Beekman Hotel wedding venue. They also wanted a NYC elopement feel to their wedding, so they took super cute shots by the subway, City Hall, and even a hot dog stand (it doesn’t get more New York than that!).
On the morning of the wedding, they were so excited! They actually shared a hotel room and got ready together but they wanted to do a first look. Photographers and Videographers Megan and Kenneth came up with the great idea to have a first look in City Hall Park across the street!
Kenneth went with Alberto while Mia got dressed and Megan assisted her to the park where they had a first look by the stunning cherry blossoms in the park! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and only got better when they walked straight into their first dance.
Mia had chosen their first dance song, which was “Merry Go Round of Life” from Howl’s Moving Castle. She’s always loved the song and was so happy that it could be played for such a special moment.
They had 20 guests at their wedding, and there was nothing but pure love and happiness from everyone. They got to take pictures with every guest on the hotel’s rooftop and then had an amazing dinner provided by the Beekman. Their wedding was a perfect mix of traditional and modern, and I’m so glad we got to witness and celebrate Mia and Alberto’s wedding!
