This restored historic building was decked out in flowers for Ashley & Troy’s chic southern wedding in Columbia, South Carolina.
After the church ceremony, guests made their way to the venue for the reception. Tables were draped with white linens and showcased alternating floral centerpieces. Tables were numbered with gold frames for dinner.
From the photographer: For me, one of the truly meaningful parts of being a wedding photographer is knowing that I get to capture moments that the couple will share with their children, grandchildren and hopefully generations on. I was reminded of great traditions handed down across families as Ashley and Troy got married in the same church that her Grandparents had been married. Her 99 year old Grandmother was even able to attend the wedding! The planned their reception at 701 Whaley with a pink and gold color scheme which worked great with the exposed paint walls of this photogenic venue. There were flowers everywhere at this wedding from the getting ready robes, to the reception entrance sign to the hanging arrangement over the food table!
