Ashley and Sean got married in August 2020 at Chapel Dulcinea in Austin, Texas. Like many other couples this year, the now husband and wife had to rearrange so many aspects of their special day due to COVID-19.
The couple chose to add to the natural backdrop their venue provided. They added yellows, blues, and oranges and created altarpieces filled with billy balls, blue thistle, and ranunculus.
From the bride: “Despite scaling back we ended up with a more luxurious wedding. The color palette shifted from rustic and modern, to summery and vibrant. We went from succulent centerpieces to yellow and red ranunculus.”
From the bride: “Our guests were greeted by custom geode nameplates, made by a friend, for our reception that sat nestled with centerpieces to matched our head table. Our cake was topped with yellow, orange, and cream flowers that sat on a custom reclaimed wood cake stand, with our initials carved into it. We wanted custom and personalized pieces to add to the intimate feel of the evening.”
