Woodsy elements and a stunning setting brought together Ashley & Josh’s colorful rustic outdoor wedding last fall.
The bride carried a stunning large bouquet full of fall inspired flowers. Blue mason jars filled with bundles of baby’s breath lined the aisle for this colorful rustic outdoor wedding ceremony. They exchanged vows underneath the gazebo that was anchored with two autumn floral arrangements.
From the photographer: The outdoorsy couple who met at work at the SC Aquarium in Charleston, but decided to have a destination wedding away from the coast. The bright and colorful flowers and casual, rustic decor were perfectly suited to their personalities. Nature is important to the bride and groom, so they incorporated wood elements into the day as much as possible. The couple focused the day on spending time with their friends and family, and serving fresh, local, organic food and drinks. Ashley’s grandmother was ill and not able to travel to the wedding, so instead watched it streaming live online. She listened to the touching and personal ceremony officiated by the couple’s friend, and minutes after it’s conclusion she passed away in her sleep.
