Long silk draping and chandeliers created an upscale atmosphere for Ashley & Dan’s chic barn wedding.
The only thing rustic about this barn wedding were the actual barns. Ashley dolled up the spaces with gorgeous white silk drapes and crystal chandeliers, turning this private residence into a wedding. Directional signs were written in chalk with vintage ornate frames. Reception tables were covered with white linens and white flowers, adding to the ambiance of this chic barn wedding.
From the photographer: It has to be said that during the setup of the barn Dan was determined to cover the massive barn structure in a massive tarp! There was a 2% chance of rain and he wasn’t about to take any risks on the gorgeous reception decor. He and his friends covered that massive barn in tarps. As we wrapped up their portraits the sky was dark navy and lightening was cracking in the distance. Guests took their seats in the second barn (yes 2 barns) and the bride and her father ducked into the barn as the skies opened up into a torrential down pour. Talk about a dramatic entrance! The rain poured down on the tin roof + the silks billowed in the draft creating an intimate and romantic ceremony.
