An outdoor ceremony setting with rich, deep floral created a lovely ambiance for Ashleigh & Marcus’ fall Ohio wedding last October.
Instead of individual programs, a chalkboard decorated with leaves was staged for the ceremony. Arrangements with leaves and pine cones were tied on aisle chairs for this fall Ohio wedding. Maroon napkins topped each plate on guest tables.
From the photographer: Emotion is obviously common at weddings but it’s not common for the emotion to be coming from the groom. Marcus was super emotional and so incredibly happy to be marrying the love of his life on his wedding day and he had such fun with his closest friends and family that day. I think one of the moments brides most request we capture is the groom’s first look seeing the her walking down the aisle to him. Ashleigh and Marcus had a first look. They chose to see each other before the ceremony, in the hopes of getting most of their formal photos out of the way before the ceremony. And when Ashleigh turned the corner and started down the aisle he was still emotional. You could tell that they had been waiting for this moment for what seemed forever.
