Full of burgundy, Arianna & Aaron’s fall Denver wedding took place at the Denver Athletic Club last October.
From the photographer: Fresh kicks, a loving couple, and cheering friends and family are all Arianna and Aaron needed for their memorable day, but a big blue bear couldn’t hurt, right? The color coordination between the groomsmen’s Chuck Taylor’s, ties, and the bridesmaid’s dresses made for a visual feast. Sparks flew! Literally, as confetti cannons marked the iconic and long-held first kiss between the newly married couple, and as the streamers rained down; everyone looked on with laughter and tears of joy.
From the bride: My husband and I are both terrible at surprises. We are the people that want to give each other our Christmas presents as soon as we buy them, because we know how much the other will love it. So it was really hard for us both, but also very important that he not see my dress until the day. There were a few times where one of us would say “OK but maybe just ONE picture, just one?” and the other would have to stay firm, that it would be worth it. And let me tell you, the look on his face when he saw me the first time made it all SO worth it. We are not super traditional in any sense. It wasn’t kept a surprise for any reason other than it was the one thing we could keep special and a surprise for the day.
