Annmarie & Phillip’s fall Texas wedding incorporated the couple’s career in music in a variety of ways.

From the bride: The ceremony was outdoor and the venue had lush greenery all around so we kept the decor simple. We had two huge floral arrangements at the altar and some black lanterns down the aisle. My husband and I wrote the bridal processional music together and we had a string quartet perform it while I walked down the aisle. The reception ballroom had lots of candles and floral and was dimly lit to get the romantic vibe going. The band was certainly my favorite part of the wedding. My husband and I are musicians and all our friends are musicians so the music was a huge deal to us.

Place cards were staged in front of an open guitar case for this fall Texas wedding.

How he asked: We graduated from the same music college in Boston but never met until after we both moved to LA. We met at an alumni party in LA through a friend and we dated for 1.5 years before he proposed. He took me to our first date spot for dinner and had my best friend help set up our apartment for the secret proposal while we were out. We came home and I opened the door to candles and flowers in our living room. There were printed photos of us laid out everywhere and he got on one knee and popped the question!
