Angela & Steve’s Sacramento estate wedding ceremony and reception took place at Vizcaya last February.
The couple exchanged vows in the courtyard for this Sacramento estate wedding. Bridesmaids donned bright blue gowns and carried bouquets of white, pink and blue flowers. The bride made the DIY centerpieces for this Sacramento estate wedding reception.
From the bride: I feel most of our wedding day was personalized because we created the idea and so much of it together. We had a beautiful slideshow that Steve created of us through the years and had a picture of almost all of our guests in it. We were both too nervous to say our own vows so the reverend had each of us write a story about the other and he read it during the ceremony. Neither of us had heard the others story prior to the ceremony making it more special. We chose the music, picked our favorite cocktails (old fashioned and Moscow mules) to be served during cocktail hour. The Vizcaya was wonderful to work with for catering. We brought them the idea of a burger bar with french fries (our favorite meal) and they create that for us, something which they had never done before.
