Stunning views of downtown buildings set the stage for Amanda & Rob’s classic Chicago wedding at Rivers Restaurant.
The invitations had a Gatsby feel to them for this classic Chicago wedding. Both the ceremony and reception took place outdoors overlooking the river. Dancing was held inside. This classic Chicago wedding also incorporated modern touches like the Plexiglas sign for the guestbook.
From the photographer: Amanda and Rob’s Chicago wedding was a classic, modern affair at Rivers Restaurant on the Chicago River. They both put a lot of time and effort into planning their wedding, which was over a year in the works. The day was much anticipated and came together flawlessly! Friends and family traveled from near and far to watch these two tie the knot. Many personal touches were incorporated into their wedding, including handmade bridal slippers by Amanda’s grandmother and a signature cocktail named after their beloved dog, Chloe. One of the most emotional parts of the evening was when the voice of Rob’s brother, who was deployed overseas, came on the loudspeaker to give his Best Man speech – a total surprise to Rob.
