Tons of floral decorated The Inn at New Hyde Park for Alysse & Charlie’s modern garden wedding last September.
From the photographer: What struck me the most about this wedding, was Alysse’s incredible strength and elegance walking down the aisle. She had lost her mother and sister, and her father passed away just weeks before the wedding. Watching her walk down the aisle to Charlie was magnificent. She was filled with sorrow, but also so much joy and seemed to float right to her husband in her beautiful BLUSH Hayley Paige dress. Even as a photographer, that has watched many of brides walk down the aisle, I was stunned by her. The groom’s aunt married them, and their personal vows even included a quote from rapper, Lil Jon. Their reception carried over that same fun style with a wedding cake covered in multicolored SPRINKLES, Signature drinks named after their dog, A Snow Cone machine, Sambuca bar, and Hot Pretzel and cookie carts. Alysse’s friend even sang their first dance song!

From the bride: Even though I knew I wanted to marry Charlie for as long as I can remember, I never thought about what the day would look like other than it would be me and it would be him. When it finally came time to plan, it all started with the dress for me! I am a MESS of a person. White would just not work. I knew it had to be pink. It basically HAD to be Hayley Paige. Once I found the dress, everything fell into place. We knew we loved our venue almost instantly, and the gardens for our ceremony were so beautiful that I knew I wanted to keep the flowers as casual as we are. In our minds, we always just wanted our wedding to be a party.
The couple incorporated a signature drink into this modern garden wedding.
