The new mr. and mrs. had a gorgeous special day at the Rustic Grace Estate in Van Alstyne, Texas.
COVID decided on a weekday wedding instead of the traditional weekend for Alyssa and Joshua.
As frustrating as the situation was, the couple made the most of their wedding day celebrating each other with loved ones.
The day started with Josh’s mom putting on a traditional hanbok on both the groom and his bride.
From the photographer: “We took photos of them together in the chapel but added a touch of their silly personality by having the bride push her groom on the Rustic Grace Estate’s swing.
It was a great way to break the ice of the nervousness they both felt that morning.”
Alyssa had Josh’s best man in a wedding dress to greet Josh for the first look.
It was a light and funny moment everyone would remember. After the ceremony, the couple decided to take photos near the big red barn and tractor at their venue as a nod to the fact that Alyssa is going to veterinarian school.
Another personal touch for this weekday wedding was the addition of a variety of pies. For their sendoff, the newlyweds ran through a parade of bubbles, and before departing, Josh dipped his bride and proudly gave her a sweet kiss.
