The Disney classic was the inspiration behind Allison & Marshall’s Beauty and the Beast wedding in Atlanta, Georgia.
Red roses were an obvious floral choice for this Beauty and the Beast wedding. Subtle nods to the movie played into the decor, such as figurines, sayings and even the rose under the glass globe.
How they met: Marshall and I met 7 years ago while working together at a food manufacturing facility, Golden State Foods. He was the veteran machine operator and I was the fresh new lab technician straight out of college. Working in a predominately male environment, I quickly learned that is was customary for every man to chase after every available and even unavailable woman in the plant. However, what made Marshall different was he was the quiet, stand-alone man, showing much respect, and keeping appropriate boundaries. It wasn’t long before he and I were talking almost every moment of the day, sharing stories, and getting to know each other personally. I would find any reason to go out to his machine just to have a small conversation. One day I finally got the nerve to give him my number. I remember I’d written it on the back of a Zax Ranch packet since that was one of the products he ran on his line. However, he beat me to the punch, when he comes walking up to me to give me his number on a sticky note!
