Even though Alisa and CJ postponed their Jamaica destination wedding till next year, they still wanted to have a small ceremony on their original date. Their Central Park wedding at Bethesda Terrace had only a fraction of the guest list, but all the style and love that New York has to offer. They exchanged vows in September 2020.
Alisa chose Jimmy Choo bridal shoes and a gorgeous dress from ASOS. She’s saving her custom Ryan and Walter gown for their larger ceremony next year.
The new husband and wife wanted their nuptials to be light and nontraditional. From the bride: “For the ceremony we kept it more of a city chic vibe, so we went with very small white rose boutonnières adorned with silver dollars and matching bouquets for the bridesmaids.”
Alisa and CJ met in high school. They reconnected in 2013 and have been together ever since.
From the bride: “I’m so happy we chose to do a first look it brings tears to my eyes thinking back to that special moment – it was everything. it was such an amazing moment i’m happy it’ll forever me memorialized with the beautiful photos.”
