Elegant details brought together Audrey & Cody’s Boston barn wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill in March.
From the bride: Our wedding was vintage, yet modern. Our color palette was white, neutral colors, and a lot of greenery. We decorated simple, because the barn added so much on the inside. I definitely wanted a lot of flowers and greenery! We made a rose wall on our own and a greenery wall. The rose wall was behind us during the ceremony and after the arch we stood under. The arch was accented with greenery and white flowers. The barn had two balconies on each side so the railings were lined with greenery and more white flowers.
How they met: Cody actually came to New Hampshire to spend time with his family. He has two sisters who live here with their families. He wasn’t planning on living here and then we just so happened to meet. We met through a couple of mutual friends. At first i did not like Cody, I actually went home the night I met him after hanging out for a bit and told my mom, “There is a boy here from SD and i don’t like him. He can go back there.” But then we started to see more and more of each other. Cody was a major catch around here and every girl liked him, so i was not interested in him. He kept trying to ask me for my number and I was not going to give in. After a few weeks of slowly hanging out more and more I began to see Cody’s heart. He was a respectful, kind, funny man who was pursuing me with such pure intentions! I immediately fell in love with him. He has made me a stronger, better, and way more patient person. He constantly is selfless and helping my walk with the Lord to grow.
