The fusion of two cultures was the prominent theme in Jennifer & Supreet’s multicultural New England wedding.
The wedding ceremony kicked off with traditional Hindu customs, including the attire. After the ceremony, the couple changed into traditional American wedding garb. As in most Indian weddings, rich colors dominated the venue.
From the photographer: Jen and Supreet met online with no expectations and immediately felt a connection. They planned a wedding which included both a traditional American wedding and a nod to Supreet’s Hindu Indian heritage. Before they recited their vows in an intimate setting, they held a First Look with a traditional Antarpat (tapestry) held by close family. Both prayers and mantras were recited and continued during the ceremony. Flower garlands were exchanged, as well as rings, and the couple took 7 evolutions around the fire.
