The scenery at Hunter Valley Farm for Katie & Sean’s Knoxville farm wedding was gorgeous for a June event.
The ceremony was staged outside, then guests came inside for the reception. The open room had tons of natural light, letting the scenery outside become part of the reception for this Knoxville farm wedding. Tables were draped in white linens with blue napkins to accent.
From the photographer: My favorite part about their wedding day was their ceremony. Usually when I’m sharing my favorite part of a wedding day, it usually has something to do with a funny moment. But this time it’s a little different. During Katie and Sean’s ceremony, they had two worship songs lead by a worship leader. All of their guests stood, lifted their hands, sang along, and worshiped. I’ve seen this before, but only at ceremonies inside of a church and it’s very rarely lead by a worship leader, more often, it’s played from a recorded song over speakers. But there was something so amazing about being outside, under some trees, feeling the sunlight break through the branches, with the river in the background, worshiping Jesus. Now granted, I wasn’t actually partaking in the sing along because I was photographing it, but in my head I was shouting loud, praising Jesus right along with the next person. One of the songs that they chose was “What a Beautiful Name” by Hillsong Worship.
