Tradition was mixed with some of the couple’s favorite things like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings for Angela & Travis’ elegant military wedding.
How he asked: One day they decided to spend an evening in Seattle by eating out at their favorite restaurant, Marcela’s, their second date restaurant as they call it. After a nice meal, the couple took a stroll at a nearby Pier 55, and caught a ride on the Seattle Great Wheel. There, in the pre-arranged VIP cabin, on the top, Travis asked Angela to marry him and share Happily-Ever-After together!
From the photographer: For their wedding venue they chose Hidden Meadows, a beautiful and elegant rustic barn setting with majestic views of northwest mountains and plenty of twinkle lights. Travis, dressed in his parade uniform, and surrounded by his closest friends, looked sharp and ready, and Angela looked absolutely stunning in a beautiful lace gown and long regal cathedral veil. Each bridesmaid and groomsman received a custom-made gift, German stein with his/her name engraved on it. During cake cutting, Angela+Travis surprised guests by revealing the Star Wars side of their awesome double-sided cake, which until then was showing only its traditional side. Playing Star Wars song at that moment just made it extra memorable!
