Sleek grey and navy tones paired with pops of spring flowers created the perfect ambiance for Lisa & Michael’s modern chic wedding.
From the bride: Details, details, details… the best part! All those little things that a bride pictures coming together perfectly! My wedding day details were true to my personal style. My dress was simple, I wore diamond studs, my hair down – very minimal as I am day to day! I chose my two favorite colors to wear: navy and gray and since it was June, I decided on a slight pop of color in our bouquets. My ‘something borrowed’ was my belt and veil from my sister, my maid of honor. This quote was on display at my wedding: “A wedding is a party, not a performance. If at the end of the day, you are married to the one you love, then everything went perfectly.”
From the photographer: I don’t think I’ll ever forget that Mike proposed to Lisa in front of a field of sunflowers, Lisa’s favorite. There’s nothing sweeter than a man planning a proposal, but when he finds a perfect spot like Mike did, he gets extra points! For their wedding, Lisa wanted them to stay close to their personal style as much as possible. When it came time for the first look, a trolley took the bridal party and their parents to Monmouth University and between the singing, laughing, and dancing, I knew we were going to have a great time with this group. At Monmouth, Lisa and Michael were able to share a moment together as their family and friends looked on from afar.
