The breathtaking, natural backdrop served as the stunning backdrop for Brenda & Tim’s intimate Yosemite wedding last summer.
From the photographer: Brenda & Tim had one of the more unique weddings from 2016, not only because it was an intimate and relaxed wedding, but because it was in Yosemite! They had their ceremony at the beautiful Glacier Point overlooking the Yosemite Valley and headed over to the Big Trees Lodge for their reception. The couple kept everything beautifully rustic with subtle nods to the movie UP from a mini adventure book to their balloon cake topper.
By far one of the best parts of this wedding were Brenda’s hiking boots she wore under her textured floral wedding dress! She definitely put them to good use as we roamed the woods and rocky terrain for portrait spots! The ceremony was very memorable as we watched them walk down the aisle together and exchange their vows with the Yosemite Valley in the background. We were all a little emotional as they exchanged their vows, even Reverend Tan got a little teary! After the ceremony we took the adventurous couple out for portraits, one of our favorites being inside the stone watchtower with views of the valley and mountains behind them. We eventually made our way to the reception where the guests gave some great toasts, ate some tasty hors d’Oeuvres and wedding cake and helped the couple celebrate their union. We hope the new husband and wife are enjoying this adventure so far!
