In a history-filled city like Philadelphia, Allie & Dan’s blue museum wedding was only fitting.
Weather can be a factor in your wedding day, especially when you are planning an outdoor ceremony. With the day’s forecast, the couple ended up moving the ceremony indoors. Luckily, the museum had a big open space as the back up plan. The bride’s main color for the wedding was blue and it worked well in the venue. Allie & Dan featured many unique items like a personalized cornhole game setup outside the reception tent.
From the photographer: It started out as a gloomy day, but the rain held off for the most part and gave us plenty of time to explore the beautiful grounds outside the museum. The day began at the Loews hotel in Center City where Allie got ready for the day in a room with a gorgeous view of Philadelphia’s iconic City Hall building. After an Uber ride to the museum, Allie & Dan had a wonderful and emotional first look that would put a smile on anyone’s face. Dan is from Philadelphia. Allie is from Virginia Beach. They met in law school at the University of Pennsylvania and had an instant connection. They actually had their very first date at their wedding venue. How cool is that!
